Database Access

The Relational Database provides a many to many connected data “soup”. This ensures that all workflow is tracked and can be identified throughout the project lifecycle.  In order to ensure that the appropriate user has access to the right data, so permissions can be set on the database.  The j2 Universal Framework provides the relevant access and user information to the database.  Logins can be set to use the Windows Login ID or can be part of SQL Authentication.

The user is able to select different servers and databases for different projects but can only gain access to them if they have the correct permissions.
